Nark: I've been reading alot of conflicting things, so as always, could you be the tiebreaker?:
Based on my goals (bulking/adding lean mass), should i be taking my BCAA's with dextrose immediately post workout (which is what i'm currently doing), or should I switch to adding them in to my whey/casein which i consume 15-20 minutes later? I know it would be beneficial to probably do both, but I want this bottle to last :] thanks friend! |

hummmmmmph, i just do one PWO shake, have never heard of splitting it, what is the theory behing two seperate shakes?

I would have thought splitting it would be a good idea.For me personally, a shake that size is way too big. It would actually come close to 3 meals for me! Do you find that it keeps you full? In the end, it has to mesh with your goals. I seem to do better on whole food that shakes but others swear by shakes pre/pwo.

im not sure Greeny.....
i know for me my PWO shake consists of 2 scoops protien (46gr of protien), 1 scoop dextrose (50gr carbs) and 1 scoop creatine (5gr).... i know nark has said to split up the creatine over the day, but i have no way to do that so i just take 1 scoop with breakfast shake and one with PWO shake... like i said earlier im not an expert, im just stating what i do

well I go by the theory that immediate PWO dextrose creates an insulin spike in about 15-20 minutes, which in turn makes for prime timing to ingest whey
